We use the Top Quality Medical Grade Stainless Steel to manufacturer the instruments. Stainless Steel is considered to be an ideal material for most of the surgical instruments. However. it remains a clear misconception that it cannot or will not corrode at all.
If the instruments are cleaned thoroughly and dried completely soon after use, the condensations of water or the remains of certain chemicals, like barium and aluminum chlorides, bromine or, iodine, will cause spots, stain, or pitting.

Washing the Instruments with very strong detergents, steel abrasive or brushes can also damage the surface. Dry-heating beyond 160c may effect their hardness and quick cooling may result into breakage.

Regardless of cleaning methods, ratchets of all forceps must be kept unlocked and box joints be lubricated after drying with any water solution and not oil. Carbon Steel instruments must be washed separately, similarly soft metal chrome - plated instruments must also be handled with due care.
